The Brazil Strategy Network (BSN) is an independent association of academics, non-governmental organization representatives, human rights and immigration activists, members of religious communities, journalists, students, labor unionists, and interested individuals and organizations in support of those working for economic and social justice in Brazil. The purpose of the BSN is to bring together interested individuals and organizations to develop strategies to: 1) inform and educate the U.S. public and government officials about Brazil and its relations with the United States; 2) to encourage and support accurate reporting of events about Brazil and bilateral relations in the media; 3) support social movements and government policies and programs that bring economic and social justice to Brazil; and 4) encourage greater cooperation between the peoples and governments of Brazil and the U.S. A Brazil Strategy Network (BSN) é uma rede social, uma associação independente de acadêmicos, representantes de organizações não governamentais, ativistas de direitos humanos e imigração, membros de comunidades religiosas, jornalistas, estudantes, sindicalistas, e indivíduos e organizações dos EUA que dão apoio á luta pela justiça econômica e social no Brasil. A proposta da BSN é criar um foro para desenvolver estratégias para: 1) informar a sociedade norte-americana e seus representantes sobre Brasil e suas relações com os EUA; 2) reinvindicar a divulgação de reportagens verificadas e atualizadas sobre Brasil e suas relações com os EUA na mídia; 3) apoiar os movimentos sociais e programas do governo que promovem a justiça econômica e social no Brasil; e 4) estimular uma cooperação mais ampla entre os povos e governos do Brasil e os EUA.
